Who are You? (property owner, contractor, etc)- This is self explanatory. We like to know who we are working with.
What is your budget for landscape lighting?– Very important as this gives us the guidelines for us to design your system. Designing a system that will cost $20,000 to build is a waste when the budget is $10,000.
Why do you want a professionally designed high performance landscape lighting system? What would you like to achieve. What are your goals. What is the purpose of your landscape lighting system. If you want landscape lighting mainly for aesthetic purposes then that is very valuable information. If its for security and aesthetics then we might approach the design in a different way.
Describe your ideal landscape lighting system– What is going to make you happy. Very helpful information to know while we design your system. If you spend most of your time viewing the lighting from inside your home that’s great to know.
What main features of your property would you like to illuminate?- This gives us the specifics. If you hate that statue in your yard that your mother in law gave you then lighting it and bringing attention to it at night will be of no value.
When do you want your system completed?– This is important to know if your schedule is compatible with our current build schedule
Landscape lighting systems require scheduled maintenance to look their best. Are you willing to pay for maintenance?This drives home the requirement and importance of scheduled and routine maintenance on your system. Although not mandatory for us to build your system it is highly recommended that you retain us after the build to care for your lighting system to keep it operating at peak efficiency and enjoyability.
