The Gambino Landscape Lighting Systematic process

The Gambino Landscape Lighting Systematic process

From Initial contact to Delighted client

When the initial contact is made from a perspective client, they usually ask how the process of hiring us is started. This is our process.

  • We like for all prospects to look through our photo gallery of completed projects first before contacting us to determine if our style of lighting is exactly or pretty close to what they are interested in for their project. Look through the area of the website that discusses general costs to see if we are in line with their budget.
  • During initial contact, we ask questions to determine what they are looking to have done and how we may be able to help.
  • Quote the nominal and credited to the acceptance of work design Consultation fee and Set up an appointment to meet on site with all decision makers present.
  • Before we meet, we ask that prospective client do their due diligence in selecting a service provider. Study prospective designers work online -note what they like and don’t like and prepare questions and notes in regards to what they want to discuss concerning what they want to achieve with outdoor lighting. There is no high pressure closing techniques used however prospects are encouraged to be prepared to move ahead at the first meeting if they are comfortable doing so to secure a place in our construction schedule which can be booked out for several months ahead at any given time.
  • We meet to discuss the proposed project, go over the project, and discuss lighting options.
  • Design the lighting system and prepare the proposal. If necessary review images of projects that would have similar lighting effects if needed. Have samples to show the quality of the fixtures we are proposing. Determine if everyone is on the same page or if revisions are needed.
  • Upon acceptance receive a deposit, schedule an installation start date and discuss service options.
  • Start the project- mount the transformer/s, set in place and adjust all of the lighting fixtures and equipment. Power Cable is laid upon the ground and All connections are made. It may only take 1 day or 1 week or longer depending on project size to have all fixtures functioning but with each day of work more fixtures are operational every night for client to see and provide feedback. We stay in touch throughout  the installation process to see if there are any questions or concerns or adjustments, additions or changes needed.  Once client is happy we then install power cable inside of rigid PVC electrical pipe, weatherproof seal all wire connectors and bury all below grade 4-6″ deep. The site is left clean and orderly after each work day.
  • After the installation is completed with minimal disruption to the landscaping, we schedule a walk through with the client at night to fine aim and adjust as needed. If everything looks as great as it should, present the invoice and get paid.
  • Photograph the project and put the best shots on our Facebook page and blog articles for promotional purposes. Add another satisfied client to our list of many.
