That is the slogan for my company Gambino landscape lighting inc. It has been for a very long time. It is not only our slogan but it is our promise, our brand our culture and we don’t take it lightly. While most lighting systems are put in with very little thought about the care of or maintenance or longevity. In contrast a Gambino landscape lighting system has these critical aspects built into every step of the design and installation process.

Simply put, with proper care a Gambino landscape lighting system will last the lifetime of the home. We often talk about failed systems and equipment on this blog because it is so prevalent in this field. Most equipment is designed to be thrown away when it stops working or even before that when mother nature has her way with it.  Gambino fixtures are not disposable, all parts are replaceable including LED modules. The same cannot be said for competing product lines whose LED chips, drivers and all are not removable or replaceable. When it stops working it gets tossed in the landfill. The main benefit of LED lighting is that it is environmentally friendly and saves electricity. Unfortunately some manufacturers defeat the purpose by making disposal fixtures that add to the landfill problem we have in this country and their impact it has on the earth.

We seldom talk about what your landscape lighting system could , should look like after a number of years with ongoing care periodic care. So this article is dedicated to just that. It features a project that we installed 10 years ago almost to the day these photos were taken. After 10 years it still looks amazing because the owner has always retained us to care for it properly.

Again this Gambino landscape lighting system had been operating for  10 years every night when these pictures were taken a few evenings ago.
