A winter landscape lighting tune up can prevent costly downtime and repairs!

Or maintenance tune-ups scheduled during spring fall or summer months for that matter.

So, you hear it from your dentist…. “See you in 6 months for your next checkup.” But, have you ever considered getting regular checkups and service that are vital to keeping your landscape lighting system performing effectively during rain, sleet, snow, intense heat (UV rays of the sun), cold and abuse from gardeners?

The car you drive requires regularly scheduled maintenance service, pool and landscape and so does your outdoor lighting system. Most of our clients who hire us to install a high performance Gambino landscape lighting system have investigated a significant amount of money and want to protect that investment by signing up for our maintenance service. Those that don’t have us on a regular schedule usually at one time or another call us to pick up the pieces and put things back the way they were when the system was originally installed. Some we won’t here from until an hour before their party is to begin and things aren’t working as they should and it’s too late. Most times this could have been prevented had they retained us to keep things looking great.

It’s easy all you have to do is pay the bill when we are done, We will come out and check your system for signs of aging, storm damage, or just general maintenance issues to make sure you and your family continue to enjoy your landscape lighting system!

Some things we do during maintenance and system safety inspection:

  1. Check overall system for signs of aging, storm or gardener damage
  2. Inspect all bulbs for wear and burnout and replace as needed
  3. Clean fixture lenses and check condition for any worn seals or water intrusion
  4. Inspect tree mounted fixtures, cable and mounts and adjust as required
  5. Check and prune any foliage or debris from blocking lenses
  6. Adjust or relocate fixtures as required
  7. Assess transformers to make sure they are working properly

It is important to get your lighting system inspected and serviced at least once a year by a landscape lighting professional. Don’t expect your landscape lighting to last and perform reliably for the full life expectancy if you don’t get regular inspections and maintenance!
