19 Jul I’m sorry but I won’t lower my standards (and you should be happy I won’t)
by Mike Gambino
A few times per year since the start of the economic recession, I have had some prospects ask me to use inferior quality materials, less labor intensive techniques, or cut down somewhere in my quotation that I know that the end result will be detrimental to the project.
“If you can meet this other bid I’ll give you the job.”
“Don’t you have lesser quality (less expensive) materials that you can use”.
“I don’t need my wire inside pipe”.
“I don’t need this many fixtures.”
“How can we make this work without disturbing the integrity of the design at half the cost ?”
“What if my gardener buries the cable?”
on and on………
I’m sorry but if you want that kind of work then you will have to find someone else to do it. You won’t have too much trouble finding someone as their are plenty around.
On the occasion that I do not get a project I have quoted and lose out to a non specialized trades person because of cost and the prospect is totally qualified and can afford my system. I know that not only have I lost out but the prospect has too.
Dollar for dollar, no one in my service area is offering a system equivalent in overall value to a Gambino high performance landscape lighting system. That may sound arrogant and self serving but I am confident that there is none that exists.
People are what make the difference. I am in the field (not the office if you call during business hours you will not get me) working on the project site 6 days a week . I have been for the past 21 years. There is no one more experienced and dedicated to bringing you the finest landscape lighting system available that is designed and built to last.
And when I’m not physically working with the lights I am mentally thinking about them and how to improve and enhance my fixtures and complete systems.
I have no hobbies or other interests. Landscape lighting gets my full attention, not just some of the time but all of the time.
So if you value quality and reliability and you have the desire for a first class landscape lighting system installed on your property and cost is not your primary concern contact me .
You will be glad that you did.
